By creating an account or using Glimpse, you agree to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and any additional guidelines or rules we may publish. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the Service.

To use Glimpse, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Be legally capable of entering into a binding agreement.
• Not be prohibited from using the Service under applicable law.
• Not have been previously banned or removed from Glimpse.

By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you meet all eligibility requirements. We reserve the right to request proof of age at any time and to terminate accounts that do not meet these requirements.

When you create an account on Glimpse, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
• Maintain and promptly update your account information to keep it accurate.
• Keep your login credentials secure and confidential.
• Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
• Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account.

You may not transfer your account to any other person or use another person's account without their permission.

Glimpse is designed to help people reconnect after genuine, real-world moments. You agree to use the Service respectfully and in good faith. Specifically, you agree to:

• Treat other users with respect and dignity.
• Only check in at locations where you are genuinely present.
• Use accurate photos and information that represent you honestly.
• Communicate respectfully and constructively with your matches.
• Report any behavior that violates these Terms or makes you feel unsafe.

Glimpse's core functionality relies on location-based check-ins. By using the Service, you understand and agree that:

• Location data is collected only when you actively drop a glimpse. We do not perform real-time or background location tracking.
• You must grant location permission through your browser or device to use check-in features. This permission can be revoked at any time.
• Your exact location is never shown to other users. Only a general area or venue name may be displayed.
• Location data associated with a glimpse automatically expires and is deleted after 24 hours.
• Misusing location features (e.g., spoofing your location) is a violation of these Terms.

Glimpse matches users who have checked in within 100 meters of each other. By using the matching and messaging features, you agree to the following:

• Matches are based on proximity and timing. We do not guarantee compatibility or outcomes.
• Profile photos are blurred until a mutual match is confirmed. Do not attempt to circumvent this feature.
• Messaging is available only between mutually matched users.
• All communications should be respectful. Harassment, sexually explicit unsolicited content, threats, or abusive language will not be tolerated.
• Either user may unmatch at any time, which will permanently remove the conversation.

You retain all ownership rights to the content you create and upload to Glimpse, including your photos, bio, and messages. However, by uploading content to the Service, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute that content solely for the purpose of operating and providing the Service. This license ends when you delete the content or your account.

You represent that you have the right to share any content you upload and that your content does not violate the rights of any third party.

Your privacy is important to us. Our Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information. By using Glimpse, you agree to the collection and use of your information as described in the Privacy Policy.

You agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited activities:

• Harassment or abuse: Threatening, bullying, intimidating, or harassing any user.
• Fake profiles: Creating accounts with false information, impersonating another person, or using someone else's photos without permission.
• Stalking or unwanted contact: Using the Service to stalk, monitor, or contact someone who has unmatched or blocked you.
• Spam or solicitation: Sending unsolicited promotional content, advertising, or commercial messages to other users.
• Harmful content: Uploading content that is illegal, sexually exploitative, violent, discriminatory, or otherwise objectionable.
• Location manipulation: Spoofing or falsifying your location to abuse the check-in and matching system.
• Automated access or scraping: Using bots, scrapers, or automated tools to access the Service or collect user data.
• Circumventing safety features: Attempting to bypass photo blurring, matching restrictions, or other safety mechanisms.
• Illegal activity: Using the Service for any purpose that violates applicable local, state, national, or international law.
• Interference with the Service: Attempting to disrupt, overload, or compromise the security or integrity of the Glimpse platform.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including but not limited to:

• Violation of these Terms or our Privacy Policy.
• Conduct that we determine is harmful to other users, our business, or third parties.
• Requests by law enforcement or government agencies.
• Extended periods of inactivity.
• Unexpected technical or security issues.

You may delete your account at any time through your account settings. Upon termination or deletion, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Data deletion follows the timeline described in our Privacy Policy.

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that:

• The Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.
• Any matches will result in successful connections or relationships.
• The information provided by other users is accurate, complete, or truthful.
• The Service will meet your specific requirements or expectations.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Glimpse and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use the Service.

You acknowledge that you are solely responsible for your interactions with other users. Glimpse does not conduct background checks on users and makes no representations or warranties regarding the conduct, identity, or compatibility of any user. You agree to exercise caution and good judgment in all interactions, both online and in person.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Glimpse, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another person or entity.

We may revise these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Effective Date” at the top of this page and notify you via email or an in-app notification. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the Service and delete your account.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the use of the Service shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation or, if necessary, binding arbitration.
